What experience do I need to start a pizza franchise?

How many locations do you have?
Plaza Pizza Franchising, LLC, is an emerging brand with two successful locations that are operated by our affiliates (commonly-owned by the Claggetts). We’re headquartered at our original affiliate-owned site in Newark, Ohio, where we and our founders have been serving great-tasting pizza since 1971. In 2020, we opened a second location in Heath, Ohio (also affiliate-owned), where we tested our franchise business model and developed our training and operations program.
How do I hire qualified people to staff my location?
During training, we provide advice and guidance on how to source and hire qualified staff members. Streamlined business operations mean our locations can be run by a small team of workers, reducing staffing concerns.
What training and support do you offer?
All our franchisees benefit from our onboarding program. This includes guidance on site selection and build-out, launch support, and hands-on training on everything from mastering our authentic recipes to reviewing KPIs.
